2Ci NewsDr. Prasad S. Kodukula, PMP, PgMP, co-founder and President of 2Ci, is quoted extensively in a travel related article in the June 2011 issue of PM Network magazine. He was interviewed for this article because of his travel experience. He has visited more than 40 countries in five continents and logged more than one million flying miles. Dr. Prasad Kodukula, PMP, PgMP, President of 2Ci, was recognized in October 2010 by the Project Management Institute as “Best of the Best in Project Management.” He received the 2010 PMI Distinguished Contribution Award for his “dedication to the profession and practice of project management and sustained performance and contribution to the advancement of project management.” On March 8, 2010, 2Ci submitted a patent application for Neochloris, a novel reactor and innovative process for sequestering carbon dioxide and producing biofuel and other marketable products from algae. Dr. Prasad Kodukula, President and co-founder of 2Ci, has been named a recipient of 2009 IIT Professional Achievement Award. Prasad received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering in 1984 from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). The award is “presented to an individual who has achieved personal success, made an outstanding contribution to his/her chosen field of endeavor, and achieved recognition by his/her colleagues. It is one of the highest distinctions the university can bestow upon its alumni.” (January 2009) Mr. Charles Stack, Vice-President of 2Ci hosted a round-table discussion on water infrastructure security and bioterrorism at the 2008 Illinois Public Health Emergency Preparedness Summit, "Exercising & Assessing the Heartland," July 17, 2008, in Oak Brook Hills, Illinois. Ryan Center for Creativity and Innovation at DePaul University, has included a case study about 2Ci in her latest book, Entrepreneurship Strategy: Changing Patterns in New Venture Creation, Growth, and Reinvention , published in August, 2007. The Water Infrastructure Security Enhancements (WISE) committee of the American Society of Civil Engineers published draft guidelines for the protection of water and wastewater utilities on December, 2006. Charles Stack, Vice President of 2Ci, helped to write these guidelines. The guidelines will become national standards and include recommendations for utilities to upgrade their systems with technologies such as BioCoil, AquaCoil and SCADAR® for public health protection. (November 1, 2005): Hammond uses 2Ci's biosensors to protect their sewage treatment plant from toxic industrial spills and deliberate acts of contamination. 2Ci wins INNOVATE Illinois competition, March 1, 2005. 2Ci was recognized as the Most Innovative Small Business in the environmental category.
